Please Note:
If you do not have 5 years or more experience please do not apply. This is mandatory, we are a very busy shop and cannot train someone with no experience. Additionally if you do not have a drivers license please do not apply this is also a requirement.
Detailer Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections pre and post-detailing
- Clean the interiors and exteriors of vehicles using approved products and procedures
- Relocate vehicles to various locations within the body shop.
- Moving vehicles in and out of the shop.
Qualifications
- 5 Years Minimum of previous experience as a Car Detailer is required
- Valid Drivers License is required
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including extended periods of walking, bending, and standing
- Strict adherence to company policies and service standards
- Speak, read, and write English
Responsibilities
- Polish, buff, and restore the exterior finish of vehicles
- Remove scratches, blemishes, and dirt
- Apply waxes, polishes, dyes, and reconditioners
- Prepare surfaces for buffing by sanding, cleaning, and masking
- Match factory paint textures
- Inspect vehicles for damage
- Follow safety procedures
Qualifications
- 5 years or more experience is required
- Valid drivers license is required
- Ability to speak, read and write English is a must
- Confidence using tools and materials
- Attention to detail
- Ability to perform physical activities like lifting, climbing, and balancing
- Ability to use hand tools
Additional tasks
- Apply ceramic coats
- Repair or replace machine parts
- Fit boot spoilers, mud flaps, or side skirts
- Disassemble and reassemble machines or equipment
- Collect and test cleaning solutions or vapors
