Seattle Chiropractic Spine & Injury Center is a multi provider, physician-owned specialty practice dedicated to helping patients through their recovery. We are known for providing exceptional patient care while fostering a workplace where employees feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow. We're looking for an adaptable Front Desk Receptionist who enjoys fast paced environments and wants to grow within our practice. This position starts as front desk and has potential to move towards a managerial position.


Qualifications

• The role requires the ability to multi‐task, be organized and detail oriented.

• 1-2 years of experience in a medical setting

• Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and computer typing skills are required

• Friendly, outgoing, and confident demeanor with strong client-facing communication skills

• Capable to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.

• Must be willing to cross-train and take on both administrative and clinical assistant duties


Preferred

• Knowledge of billing and coding

• Bilingual in Spanish


Responsibilities

• This role is responsible for managing client intake, scheduling appointments for 5 different providers, verifying insurance benefits, and coordinating communication between clients, doctors, and the billing team

• The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced remote environment, and is committed to providing exceptional client service while maintaining confidentiality

• Possess problem‐solving skills, can communicate efficiently with patients, is sensitive to their needs, and demonstrates a high level of work ethic and professionalism

• Maintain accurate client records within the electronic health record (EHR) system while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality

• Scanning and uploading pertinent patient information into EHR including new patient paperwork, authorizations, referrals, and any other documentation

• Enter personal health information and financial information into practice management system with a high rate of accuracy; complies with federal and local laws to ensure patient privacy

• Collects and posts co-pays, coinsurances, pre-payments and balances due on patient accounts

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment
