HR Generalist – Leave of Absence Specialist
Location: Grapevine, TX (ON SITE)
Assignment: Temporary – Minimum 12 Weeks
Pay Rate:$25 an hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday
Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist – Leave of Absence Specialist to provide temporary support to the Total Rewards team. This position will have a primary focus on employee leave and benefits administration, while also providing general HR support as needed.
The ideal candidate will have previous Human Resources experience with a strong preference for candidates who have directly supported employee leaves of absence and/or benefits administration. This individual should be highly organized, comfortable handling confidential employee information, and able to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and HR partners.
Essential Responsibilities
- Support the administration and tracking of employee leaves of absence.
- Assist employees throughout the leave process by providing information regarding leave procedures, required documentation, and next steps.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee leave records and documentation.
- Track leave dates, documentation, status changes, and return-to-work information.
- Coordinate with employees, managers, HR partners, benefits providers, and third-party leave administrators as appropriate.
- Assist with employee questions related to benefits and leave programs.
- Support the Total Rewards team with benefits administration and related employee requests.
- Assist with maintaining accurate employee information within HR systems.
- Help ensure leave and benefits processes are administered consistently with company policies and applicable requirements.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding HR policies and practices under the direction of HR leadership.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee, medical, benefits, and other sensitive information.
- Provide general HR support as business needs require.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience preferred.
- Previous experience with Leave of Absence administration
- Benefits administration experience preferred.
- Familiarity with employee leave processes and applicable HR policies.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience working with HRIS systems; Workday experience is preferred.
- Partners with employees and management to communicate various resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations
- Conduct the on-boarding process and off-boarding process
- Provideguidancetoemployees and managersregarding workplace policies andpractices,legal interpretations, and HR initiatives underleadershipof HRManager

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or a related field preferred.
