Woodworker

 Plans, constructs, and repairs a wide range of custom wood containers built to military

specifications in support of MCPP operations. Products include shipping crates,

storage boxes, pallets, and other specialized wooden items as required.

 Reviews work orders, drawings, and specifications to plan and lay out materials and

tasks. Measures, selects, and prepares appropriate lumber, hardware, and tools needed

for each project.

 Follows detailed instructions provided by the shop carpenter to construct, modify, or

repair wooden boxes, crates, and pallets in accordance with established designs and

requirements.

 Operates a variety of stationary and portable power tools, including pneumatic nail

guns, impact wrenches, battery-operated drills, radial arm saws, and band saws, always

ensuring safe and proper use.

 Performs additional duties as assigned, supporting overall shop operations and
