Field Superintendent

Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a Field Superintendent at C.T. Brayton and Sons, playing a vital role in diverse construction projects throughout the Central Valley. You will direct all on-site construction activities, including scheduling manpower, coordinating subcontractors, interacting with inspectors (AHJs, DSA) to ensure the successful execution of construction projects. Your expertise will drive project efficiency, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Site Management: oversee daily site operations
• Safety Compliance: ensure safety of all those on-site, recognizing potential accidents before they happen
• Scheduling: Day-to-day and long term scheduling to ensure job is completed on time
• Utilize tools like Autodesk Build and Bluebeam for document management

Ideal Experience

• Proven experience as a Field Superintendent, strong preference for healthcare and/or education construction projects
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and project scheduling
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
• Knowledge of construction site operations combined with effective communication skills for team collaboration.
