Mammography Technologist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Mammography Technician to join a highly regarded medical center in Rancho Mirage, CA. This position performs high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography as well as bone density exams while providing compassionate, patient-focused care.

What You'll Do

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Perform bone density (DEXA) exams as assigned.
• Explain procedures and help patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.
• Obtain and document appropriate patient and family medical history.
• Ensure high-quality imaging in accordance with established protocols.
• Complete required documentation and procedure coding accurately in EHR and PACS.
• Maintain imaging equipment and procedure rooms.
• Follow MQSA, state regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Work at the main campus and satellite facilities as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of a JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (R) – Radiography certification.
• California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license – Radiography and Mammography.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Proficiency with mammography and DEXA equipment.
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Mammography screening experience preferred.
