What You'll Do

As a Glass Installer, you'll work on a variety of residential and commercial projects installing high-quality custom glass products.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing frameless shower doors, shower enclosures, mirrors, glass railings, glass walls, countertops, and other custom glass products
  • Installing hinges, brackets, channels, metal framework, and architectural hardware
  • Accurately measuring, laying out, and completing installations to project specifications
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, measurements, and installation instructions
  • Troubleshooting installation challenges and finding effective solutions in the field
  • Ensuring completed work meets company quality standards and applicable safety requirements
  • Protecting customers' homes and businesses while maintaining a clean and professional jobsite
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, materials, and company vehicle inventory
  • Completing required job documentation and project photos
  • Providing professional, friendly customer service throughout each installation

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, skilled, and takes genuine pride in delivering excellent work.

Required qualifications:

  • 3+ years of glass installation, glazing, or closely related experience
  • Experience installing custom glass, shower enclosures, mirrors, hardware, or similar products
  • Strong knowledge of installation tools, materials, hardware, and glass products
  • Strong measuring, layout, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, measurements, and installation specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening

Even Better If You Have

  • Experience installing frameless shower enclosures
  • Commercial or residential glazing experience
  • Experience with architectural glass, metal framework, or specialty hardware
  • Vocational or technical training in glazing, construction, carpentry, fabrication, or a related trade
  • Industry certifications or manufacturer-specific training

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on installation position. Candidates must be comfortable:

  • Lifting, carrying, positioning, and installing glass and materials weighing 50+ pounds, with assistance when appropriate
  • Standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and working throughout the day
  • Working safely from ladders, scaffolding, or lifts when required
  • Using hand and power tools safely
  • Driving a company vehicle to local jobsites
  • Working a flexible full-time schedule based on project needs
