Journeyman Painter

• Perform interior and exterior painting on residential and/or commercial projects
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and priming
• Apply paint, stain, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow project specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Complete projects efficiently while maintaining professional workmanship

• Journeyman-level painting experience required
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and coatings
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to safely perform physical duties associated with painting, including standing, bending, lifting, and working from ladders or lifts
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic

• Are you able to safely perform the physical requirements of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, reaching, and working for extended periods?
• Do you have the proper PPE required for commercial jobsites? Please confirm that you have a hard hat, work boots, jeans/work pants, work gloves, safety glasses, and a high-visibility vest.
