About the Role:
V&H Logistic 1 Corporation is looking for a skilled and dependable Tractor Trailer Driver to join our growing team in Trenton, NJ. If you're a road-tested professional who takes pride in safe, on-time delivery, we want you behind the wheel. Responsibilities:
- Operate tractor trailer vehicles to transport and deliver freight safely and on schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan and navigate efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs including hours of service, mileage, and delivery records (ELD/paper logs)
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record with a strong safety history
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules
- Experience with ELD (Electronic Logging Device) systems
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with strong communication skills
- Double and Triple Endorsement Needed
