Restaurant General Manager
Job Description
The Restaurant General Manager oversees daily operations within a quick-service restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and efficient team performance. This role manages a medium-sized team of 10-30 staff, focusing on maintaining high standards in service, quality, and inventory control. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the General Manager occasionally travels for meetings to align operational goals and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of 10-30 staff members to ensure operational efficiency
- Deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest inquiries and concerns
- Control inventory to minimize waste and maintain stock levels
- Develop and manage staff scheduling to optimize coverage and productivity
- Train new and existing staff to uphold company standards and processes
- Maintain quality control across all food and service areas
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in restaurant management
- Associate degree in Business Administration or related field
- Strong skills in operations management and staff leadership
- Expertise in customer service, inventory control, and budgeting
- Effective conflict resolution and communication abilities
- Proficient problem solving and time management skills
