Registered Nurse

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to during routine clinic visits
• Follow diagnostic and treatment plans
• Administer injectable and intravenous medications
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Phlebotomy

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• IV line placement and medication infusions

This is a small and growing infectious diseases practice located in southwest Atlanta. We treat various infections, including HIV/ AIDS; diabetic wound infections; hepatitis B; hepatitis C; and STIs. This position is ideal for someone who desires autonomy and the freedom to develop protocols and initiatives. Team includes an MD, PharmD, SWer, and CMA.
