This is a hands-on position requiring the ability and willingness to work in various areas of the jobsite. The General Laborer will assist with daily construction and jobsite operations by performing a variety of manual labor, cleanup, material-handling, and equipment-related tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, willing to learn, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly Pay Range: $15.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Job Summary
The General Laborer is responsible for supporting day-to-day construction and jobsite operations. Duties may include general construction labor, maintaining clean and organized work areas, loading and unloading materials, assisting skilled trades and other team members, operating small equipment, and performing other tasks as directed by management.
The General Laborer may be cross-trained in various areas of jobsite operations and will provide support as needed during employee absences, changing project demands, and periods of increased workload.
The successful candidate will follow established safety procedures, communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers, and promptly report unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, or other issues that may affect jobsite operations.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Safely and efficiently perform general labor, cleanup, material-handling, and other manual labor tasks throughout the jobsite
• Assist with construction activities and support other team members as directed
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Load, unload, move, and properly store materials and equipment
• Operate small tools and mobile equipment as trained and authorized
• Assist with minor maintenance and upkeep tasks as directed by a supervisor
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and jobsite requirements
• Communicate jobsite concerns, safety hazards, equipment issues, and other problems to the appropriate supervisor
• Work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers, subcontractors, and other personnel on the jobsite
• Participate in required training to improve job performance, safety, and operating efficiency
• Provide assistance in other areas of jobsite operations as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
Job Qualifications
• Previous construction, general labor, equipment operation, or related experience preferred, but not required
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Reliable transportation required
• Must have a strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Must be willing and able to learn new skills and perform a variety of jobsite tasks
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
• Must possess basic reading and writing skills
• Previous experience operating mobile equipment is preferred
• Must be comfortable working around moving equipment, machinery, vehicles, and other active jobsite conditions
• Must be able to work safely and effectively in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Must be able to walk over uneven or rough terrain, stoop, reach, climb, kneel, bend, and perform other physical activities required for the position
• Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 pounds
• Position requires working in varying weather conditions and may involve exposure to temperature extremes, dust, noise, humidity, and other typical construction jobsite conditions
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed to meet project demands
