Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Pay Rate: Up to $63/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join a healthcare team on a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while providing compassionate patient care and collaborating effectively with physicians and clinical staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Active state license/certification as required.
- Current ARDMS certification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Ultrasound experience.
- BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Perform general diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to physician orders.
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and effectively.
- Review images for quality and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow departmental protocols and safety standards.
