About the Role:
OPK South of Middleburg is looking for a warm, nurturing, and passionate Part Time Afternoon 1 Year Old Teacher to join our team in Middleburg, FL! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the critical early development stages of young children in a supportive and caring environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for 1-year-old children during afternoon hours
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate updates to parents and guardians
- Follow diapering, feeding, and nap routines
- Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
Requirements:
- Experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare or early education setting preferred
- Knowledge of infant/toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Must be reliable, patient, and passionate about early childhood education
- Completed 45 DCF Hours
- Ability to meet Florida DCF background screening requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills with parents and team members
- Willing to work from 2-4pm
