- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
- Provide expert tracheostomy care, including suctioning, stoma care, and tube changes as needed.
- Manage gastrostomy tube (G-tube) care, including formula preparation, feeding, medication administration, and stoma care.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain ventilator equipment (LTV 1150), ensuring proper settings and patient response.
- Administer medications via various routes (PEG tube, SubQ) and monitor for effectiveness and side effects.
- Monitor and document vital signs, respiratory status, and other relevant clinical data each shift and as needed.
- Maintain oxygen saturation above 92% and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with the patient's multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Educate and train family members on proper care techniques, equipment use, and emergency protocols.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all nursing interventions, assessments, and patient outcomes.
- Implement pressure injury prevention measures and perform regular skin assessments.
