Surgical Coordinator

Long Term Contract (Potential for Perm Hire)

Title: Surgical Coordinator

Pay Rate: $20-25/hour

Location: On-site in Newton, MA

Schedule: M-F, 8A-4:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
• Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally
• Gather and document patient screening and scheduling information
• Take, relay, and manage messages and provide routine information accurately
• Provide routine information and assistance to patients and staff

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Professional problem solver with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Experience supporting senior staff, preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products
