PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including grooming and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health status.
• Help clients with mobility and transportation to appointments and social events.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance caregiving skills.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in personal care or nursing assistance preferred.
• Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients with mobility.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Background check and references required.
