We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead our growing independent retail pharmacy in Santa Clarita / Valencia, California.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: TBD
  • Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC).
  • Oversee all daily pharmacy operations and workflow.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, clerks, and delivery personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with California Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, HIPAA, and all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws.
  • Maintain accurate prescription processing and pharmacy records.
  • Oversee inventory management, controlled substances, and medication storage.
  • Build strong professional relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and patients.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and compliant pharmacy environment.
  • Promote outstanding customer service while fostering a positive and professional workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Active California Pharmacist License in good standing.
  • Immunization Certification required.
  • Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Previous Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) or pharmacy leadership experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
