About the Role:
Mama Megan's Childcare LLC in Juliette, GA is looking for a warm, caring, and enthusiastic Assistant Childcare Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
- Supervise and engage children in a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment
- Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth throughout the day
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and play areas
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and child progress
- Follow all childcare regulations, safety protocols, and center policies
- Assist with feeding, nap time, and daily routines as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework in early childhood education is a plus
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting preferred
- Genuine passion for child development and early childhood education
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare licensing requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
