Medical Biller
Job Description
Our office is looking for a friendly, hardworking, enthusiastic new member to our team! We are a busy optometric practice in a great location in Silverlake/Los Feliz area. We are looking for a qualified and talented Medical Biller. Spanish-speaking is a plus.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience in billing
- Knowledge of vision and medical insurances
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Superior customer service skills
Responsibilities:
- Billing vision and medical insurance for services materials
- Posting payments by insurance
- Review claims for accuracy
- Address insurance denials and communicate with patients accordingly
- Maintaining statistics for the office
All staff are cross-trained. Alongside the above requirements, employees will also be responsible for general office duties, e.g. answering phones, scheduling appointments, etc.
Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications.
