Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our gas station team. This position involves operating the cash register, assisting customers, stocking shelves, maintaining a clean work environment, and supporting daily store operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Operate the cash register accurately, including handling cash, credit/debit transactions, and giving correct change.
Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and follow all cash-handling procedures.
Stock and replenish shelves, coolers, and displays as needed.
Rotate stock to ensure freshness and proper product placement.
Keep the sales floor, restrooms, and outside areas (including pumps and trash bins) clean and organized.
Monitor and maintain store safety and security standards.
Assist with receiving and unloading deliveries.
Follow all company policies, including age-restricted sales (tobacco, lottery, alcohol if applicable).
Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.
