CNC Setup Operators

We are seeking First and Second Shift - CNC Setup Operators to join our team! The CNC Setup Operator will help set up jobs, oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC Swiss-style and/or CNC lathe machines based on job specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
• Load and unload programs, equipment and materials.
• Provide innovative solutions and work with engineers and programmers to improve efficiency, optimize processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant.
• Maintain accurate setup sheets, tool lists, job notes within the ERP system.
• Maintain records for equipment and procedures.

​Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years experience setting up CNC Swiss or CNC lathe machines
• Deep understanding of tooling, fixturing, speeds/feeds and machining strategy
• Proficiency reading technical drawings and geometric tolerancing
• Ability to make on-the-fly adjustments to improve part quality or reduce cycle time
• Familiarity with Citizen, Star, Tsugami and/or similar platforms preferred
• ERP (Epicor/Kinetic) experience a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Pay range $20.00 - $32.00
