Job Description
Compensation: $19/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
Responsibilities:
Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for visits
Obtain and record vital signs (must be able to take manual blood pressures)
Administer vaccines and assist with procedures as needed
Serve as a chaperone during exams when required
Complete medication prior authorizations and other administrative tasks
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Athena EMR
Support providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and coworkers
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (private practice preferred)
Proficiency with Athena EMR required
Knowledge of vaccines, vitals, and medication processes
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and patient service skills
