Job Description
Excel Pharmacy is looking for a full-time licensed pharmacist to fulfill retail pharmacy duties.
Duties and responsibilities:
Provides pharmacy services to patients, Prepares, and/or oversees the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients.
Counsels patients and/or medical practitioners on drug indications, dosage, drug interactions and side effects.
Prepares and maintains all necessary records on prescriptions, patients, and inventory.
Provides guidance to pharmacy support staff and monitors performance.
Follows established policies and procedures and safety, environmental and/or infection control standards.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education and experience:
BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D
Preferred 1 – 2 years of work experience in retail pharmacy
Must have New Jersey State License
Job Type: Monday to Friday Full time , and Saturdays Optional
