Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to enhance well-being.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each person's needs.
- Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote engagement.
- Document daily activities and progress in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all clients.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with disabilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
