Dog Bather/ Boarding tech

The Dog Bather is responsible for safely and efficiently bathing dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including lifting and supporting heavy dogs using proper handling techniques. This position requires confidence in managing energetic, anxious, or resistant pets while maintaining a calm and controlled environment. The bather must be able to assess each dog’s skin and coat condition and select the appropriate shampoos, conditioners, and treatments—such as medicated, hypoallergenic, flea, or deodorizing formulas—to ensure the best care for every pet. Duties include performing thorough baths, facial cleaning, ear care, and complete rinsing, as well as keeping the bathing area sanitized, organized, and stocked. Attention to detail, strong physical ability, and a genuine love for working with dogs are essential for success in this role. Our boarding techs are responsible for providing consistent, attentive care to all pets staying in our facility. Duties include performing multiple daily walks to ensure proper exercise and potty breaks, following individualized feeding schedules, and administer topical or oral medications as directed. The Boarding Technician will also maintain a clean, sanitary kennel environment and closely monitor pets' behavior, promptly reporting any concerns to management. The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, able to follow detailed care instructions, and committed to maintaining a safe and positive environment for every pet in our care.
