Teacher Assistant

Experienced Teacher Assistant needed for immediate placement

We are currently recruiting experienced Teacher Assistants for the 2026/2027 school year to work in special education classroom settings. Schedule hours will be Monday- Friday with hours ranging from 7:00am- 2:30pm, total work week will be 35 hours/ week.

Applicants must have at least one year of recent experience working in classroom setting or working in behavioral health setting with children OR Associates degree or equivalent of two years’ college education (in progress) with emphasis in elementary education, special education or mental health OR a combination of work and education experience. Autism and ED self-contained classroom settings experience a plus!

Job Requirements:

• Must have recent classroom or behavioral health experience
• Fingerprint clearance card
• First Aid
• CPR
• CPI training- Provided by Dependable Staffing
