Grill/Prep

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Grill Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, cook items on the grill, and maintain a clean and organized workstation while following all food safety guidelines from the Food and Drug Administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and sauces before service

• Cook food items on the grill according to recipes and customer orders

• Maintain proper food temperatures and quality standards

• Follow sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen

• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils

• Assist other kitchen staff during busy periods

• Store food properly and label ingredients

• Ensure kitchen supplies are stocked and organized

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of grilling and food preparation

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs

• Food handler or safety certification (recommended by the National Restaurant Association)
