We are looking for a driven Technician who wants more than just a daily routine. We are seeking an ambitious professional eager to master their craft and actively advance. If you are an experienced Repair Technician that will have a positive impact on providing their expertise and skills in servicing customers and a great troubleshooter but don’t want to be limited to hands-on repairs forever, this role is designed for you.

We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to master the equipment, learn about industry, structured training and documented qualifying work experience to earn certification and move into an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) within our company.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  1. Repairing complex rehab wheelchairs, delivering equipment, maintaining required documentation when assessing repairs and delivering equipment/parts.
  2. Document all service activities accurately for customer file records and compliance purposes.
  3. Equipment repaired is tested thoroughly to verify proper operation before returning it to the customer.
  4. Collaborating with internal team members and manufacturers when ordering equipment.
  5. Responsibilities will include scheduling customer appointments for repairs or the delivery or pickup of a wheelchair.
  6. Assisting in obtaining all required documentation for insurance verifications, authorizations, and reimbursements.
  7. Maintain warehouse and equipment organization and cleanliness and meet accreditation requirements.
  8. Maintain company vehicle records, maintenance, and cleanliness
  9. This position requires continued educational programs including safety year-round.
  10. Customer Education to safely guide customers and caregivers on the proper use of equipment, charging and care.
  11. Conduct repairs both in the warehouse repair shop and on-site at patient homes or living sites.
  12. Cleanliness & Maintenance Daily Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, and dust warehouse floors, racks, and workstations. Debris Removal: Break down boxes, operate cardboard balers, and dispose of trash.
  13. Monitor stock levels daily, process incoming shipments, and verify packing slips against purchase orders.
  14. On the road traveling.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of Wheelchair repair Experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent Driving Record
  • Professional appearance
  • Computer Skills & Microsoft Skills
  • Interpersonal Skills – Understanding, Caring, Empathy toward others.
