QA Inspector
Job Description
We’re hiring a QA Inspector for our Southwest Houston area client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
- Job Title: QA Inspector III
- Location: Southwest Houston, TX
- Pay: $25.00/hour
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Duration: Temp-to-Hire
- Description of Duties: Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of precision-machined components. Review engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to verify parts meet specifications. Use precision inspection equipment including calipers, height gages, micrometers, dial indicators, go/no-go gages, and an optical comparator. Conduct or assist with hardness, tensile, and Charpy testing; training will be provided as needed. Perform PMI and coating thickness inspections. Verify required part identification and stamp markings. Accurately record inspection findings and determine whether completed parts meet acceptance criteria.
- Requirements: Previous experience performing quality inspections in a machining or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, including positional and runout tolerances. Experience with precision measuring instruments and inspection gages. Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 drawing standards. Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills. Must be comfortable working hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
