Groundskeeper

We are in immediate need of Groundskeepers to support the organization’s operations through horticulture and grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate for this position has experience and a strong interest in learning more, gardening, and tree care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mow, weed-eat & clear underbrush using gas-powered equipment
• Weeding, trimming, pruning, and other horticultural duties as assigned to ensure the health of plants and trees
• Knowledge and some repairs to lawn equipment.
• Assist with the care of plants, flowers, grass, trees, and shrubs as directed (i.e. mulch garden beds, prune plants, remove dead vegetation)
• Maintain a neat appearance at the organization's sites through regular trash pick-up and trash pulls, curb maintenance, and other duties as needed
• Follow safety rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs repetitively
• Proficient in using lawn equipment and power tools safely
• Ability to bend, push, pull, stoop, and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions for extended periods of time

**You must have verifiable work history as a Groundskeeper/Lawncare associate**
