Head Chef Wanted -- Macaluso's, South Philadelphia

Macaluso's is a new Italian restaurant opening in South Philadelphia, and we're looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen from the ground up.

This is a rare opportunity to shape a kitchen from day one. You'll build the menu, hire and train your team, set the standards, and run the show once doors open. If you love Italian cooking and want real ownership over a new restaurant's food program, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff
• Oversee food costing, ordering, and vendor relationships
• Maintain the highest standards for quality, consistency, and cleanliness
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations
• Work closely with front of house to deliver a great overall guest experience

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a full service restaurant
• Strong background in Italian cuisine
• A track record of leading and developing a kitchen team
• Excellent organizational skills and a calm head during a busy service
• ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain one)
• A genuine passion for great food and hospitality
