Toddler Assistant Teacher

Ready, Set, Grow is seeking a dedicated Toddler Assistant Teacher for a room of 10 children, ages18-36 months. This position alternates bi-weekly with the Lead Teacher, between the hours of 6:45AM to 2:45PM and 9:30AM to 5:30PM. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a licensed early childhood program and a minimum of the Child Development Associate's Credential. Preference will be given to candidates with an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a similar field.

Job duties include planning developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities, creating a safe and inviting learning environment, participation in monthly and quarterly meetings/trainings, child developmental screenings, preparing child developmental summaries and parent conferences, completing necessary recordkeeping, following all OCFS Regulations for health & safety, and more.

Ready, Set, Grow is licensed to care for 58 children, from 6 weeks of age to 5 years of age. All teaching teams include a Lead Teacher, an Assistant Teacher, and a Support Teacher.
