Location: La Porte, TX
Pay: $20–$24/hour
Schedule: 6AM to 4PM
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team in La Porte, TX. This position will support daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, forklift operation, material handling, inventory movement, and basic computer tasks.

Candidates with previous gas industry or industrial experience are highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and safely during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, and proper documentation.
• Assist with inventory movement, organization, and tracking.
• Enter and retrieve information using basic computer systems.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• Forklift experience required.
• Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience required.
• Gas industry or industrial experience preferred.
• Must be available and willing to work night shift.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Must be able to pass the required background screening.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of a warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the gas, oil & gas, chemical, manufacturing, or industrial industry.
• Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems.
• Previous night-shift or overnight work experience.
• Familiarity with industrial safety procedures and practices.
