Digital Press Operator / Bindery Specialist
Pay: $21.00 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Digital Press Operator with Bindery Experience to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating digital printing equipment, producing high-quality printed materials, and assisting with bindery and finishing processes to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working in a fast-paced print production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain digital printing equipment
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed
- Set up and run print jobs according to production specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Complete bindery and finishing tasks including cutting, folding, collating, stapling, and binding
- Package and prepare printed materials for shipment and distribution
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating digital printing presses required
- Experience with bindery and finishing equipment required
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume print production environments
- Knowledge of print file preparation and production workflows
- Familiarity with various paper stocks and finishing techniques
