Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Seasonal Mowing Crew Member to join our grounds maintenance team. This position is responsible for maintaining commercial properties and roadside right-of-ways through mowing, trimming, and general landscape upkeep. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable operating landscaping equipment in outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities
Mow and maintain commercial properties and roadside right-of-ways.
Operate landscaping equipment including zero-turn mowers, bush hogs, trimmers, and blowers.
Perform bush hogging for larger or overgrown areas.
Trim grass and weeds around buildings, fences, sidewalks, signs, and other obstacles.
Use blowers to clear grass clippings and debris from sidewalks, parking lots, and other surfaces.
Perform basic equipment inspections and routine maintenance such as fueling and cleaning equipment.
Follow company safety procedures and proper equipment operation guidelines.
Work as part of a crew to complete assigned properties efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for company insurance eligibility).
Ability to safely operate commercial landscaping equipment.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
Reliable attendance and ability to work well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous lawn care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
Experience operating zero-turn mowers, bush hogs, trimmers, or similar equipment preferred.
Work Schedule
Full-time hours during the mowing season (typically 8-10 hour workdays)
