Love working with children? Are you an artist, musician, actor, storyteller, performer, teacher or someone in the gig economy with a flexible schedule looking to supplement your income with rewarding work?
We are seeking one or two energetic, dependable presenters to bring hands-on educational programs to elementary schools throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, NY.
While we are an organization that brings cultural arts programming on Native Americans into schools, no background in these cultures is necessary. We will train you. Experience in working with children is more important. Each day you will travel to a different school, help set up our traveling museum, and work alongside another presenter to deliver interactive educational programs to fourth-grade students.
This is a seasonal position running from mid-September through the end of February, with opportunities to work up to 5 weekdays per week.
