Roofing Foreman

The Roofing Foreman leads a skilled roofing crew responsible for installing and maintaining roofs on large industrial sites, commercial, and mixed-use buildings. This role involves supervising a team of 4-6 members, ensuring quality workmanship using various roofing materials including EPDM, TPO, PVC, MOD/BUR, shingles, and slate/tile/shake. The foreman manages project-based tasks and pre-planned daily schedules, operates specialized roofing machinery and tools, and strictly enforces safety protocols. Reporting directly to the owner, the foreman plays a critical role in coordinating project execution and maintaining high safety and quality standards on-site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead roofing crew on commercial and industrial projects
• Install roofing systems including EPDM, TPO, PVC, MOD/BUR, and shingles
• Operate standard hand tools and specialized roofing machinery safely
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a secure work environment
• Coordinate project tasks and pre-planned daily schedules effectively
• Oversee quality assurance throughout roofing installation processes
• Collaborate with team members to solve on-site challenges
• Report progress and issues directly to the owner

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional roofing experience
