Part Time Dental Assistant

We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and personable Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a friendly, patient-focused private family-owned dental practice that values teamwork, excellent patient care, and creating a comfortable experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

## Position Responsibilities

* Assist the dentist during general and cosmetic dental procedures

* Prepare treatment rooms and properly set up instruments and materials

* Take digital X-rays as permitted

* Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control protocols

* Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked operatories

* Assist with impressions, digital scanning, and other clinical procedures

* Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions

* Document clinical information accurately in patient charts

* Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day

* Work collaboratively with the dentist, hygienists, front office, and other clinical team members

## Qualifications

* Dental assisting experience preferred, but we are willing to consider a motivated candidate with limited experience who is eager to learn

* Florida Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification preferred

* Dental radiography certification preferred

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a busy environment

* Positive attitude and a genuine interest in providing excellent patient care

* Comfortable learning new technology and clinical systems

* Team-oriented with a willingness to help wherever needed
