About the Role
Our client is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with a respected medical center in Rancho Mirage, CA. This position performs nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care, accurate documentation, and radiation safety.

Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
- Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
- Operate and calibrate nuclear medicine cameras and related imaging equipment.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Document relevant clinical history, symptoms, and procedure information.
- Start IVs and follow established injection procedures.
- Follow radiation safety standards for handling, administering, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues.
- Maintain supplies and inventory within the department.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- ARRT, NMTCB, or ASCP certification required.
- California State License required.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- New graduates will be considered.
- 1–3 years of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
