Saw Operator

We are seeking a Saw Operator to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

Job Summary: Position reports to Pre-Fab Supervisor, Areas of responsibility include receiving , storing and inventory of raw materials.

Processing job packets ensuring all angles and other steel shapes are cut and sent to next step in process.

Supervise and coordinate activities of helper when applicable.

Job Duties

• Using prints in the job packet cut raw materials to length
• Using prints layout and punch holes as required
• Take required parts and prints to machine shop
• Take reminder of parts to the designated area keeping all parts for the job together.
• Unload steel from trucks and store it in designated areas
• Other activities as directed by supervisor.

• Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
• Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
