Maintenance Tech

This position acts an essential member of the maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the reliable operation and safety of facility equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs. Reporting to the Facility Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, this role utilizes both computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and manual tracking to maintain accurate records and support smooth facility operations without travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
• Diagnose and repair equipment issues promptly
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical system faults
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols
• Conduct regular inspections and system testing
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using CMMS and manual methods
• Manage tools and equipment to ensure readiness
• Respond to emergency repairs effectively
• Collaborate with maintenance team members to optimize workflow

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance roles
• Technical certification in maintenance or related field
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance, equipment repair, troubleshooting, and safety compliance
• Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
