Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Join our growing team as a Journeyman supporting utility-grade solar construction projects across the region. This is a travel position, ideal for individuals ready to work hard, learn fast, and grow within the solar industry. You’ll work with other licensed electricians to assist with electrical installations on large-scale solar fields.

Duties

• Assist with installation of electrical systems for solar PV arrays
• Pull wire, terminate connections, install conduit, junction boxes, and panels
• Maintain safety and quality standards on all job sites

Preferred Experience & Background:

• Underground PVC & direct burial experience
• Pad rough-in experience
• Setting switchgear, transformer and terminating experience

Certifications, Licenses & Practices:

• New Mexico and/or Texas Journeyman electrician license is a requirement.
• Medium-voltage certification is a big plus.
• OSHA 30 certified or willing to work towards this goal within first 90 of employment.
• NFPA 70E Arc Flash certified – or willing to work towards this certification within 90 days of employment.
• Read and adhere to site specific safety plans.
• Have performed appropriate OSHA lockout / tagout procedures where appropriate.
• WILLING TO TRAIN NEWLY LICENSED JOURNEYMEN!
