HVAC Service Technician

Goldstone Construction is seeking an experienced HVAC Service & Repair Technician to join our expanding team. We specialize in servicing and renovating multifamily apartment communities and are looking for a dependable technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems in occupied and vacant apartment homes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal inspections.
• Repair or replace compressors, motors, capacitors, contactors, thermostats, fan motors, coils, and other HVAC components.
• Identify refrigerant leaks and perform EPA-compliant refrigerant recovery and charging.
• Complete accurate service documentation, photos, and work orders using mobile technology.
• Communicate professionally with property managers, maintenance teams, and residents.
• Maintain company vehicle, inventory, and tools.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
• Follow all OSHA safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC service and repair experience (multifamily experience preferred).
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with split systems, package units, heat pumps, and gas furnaces.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in Arizona weather.
