JOB SUMMARY:

Are you a skilled and experienced commercial plumber looking for a dynamic opportunity? Premier Plumbing is seeking a talented Commercial Journeyman Plumber (or at least 5 yrs exp) to join our commercial plumbing system installation team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in commercial construction settings that include but are not limited to installations for schools, municipal complexes, hospitals, wastewater treatment plants. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical skills, a commitment to safety, and a passion for delivering outstanding craftsmanship and customer service.

A successful individual will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least five (5) years of commercial plumbing experience
• Assembles pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and/or welding equipment.
• Measures, cuts, threads, and bends pipe using hand power tools or machines.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Proficient in welding techniques for joining pipes and fittings.
• Install pipes and fixture, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
• Install supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation.
• Install all plumbing to code standard, observing all pertinent health and safety regulations
• Ability to take a project from the ground up to complete plumbing systems
• Experience with steam, process pipe and med gas.
• Read and understand project plans and specifications - to include isometric drawings
• Be knowledgeable and efficient in running DWV and Domestic Water systems in a commercial application.
• Able to complete required paperwork for end-of-day progress reports
• Keep a clean and safe work environment
• Meet the required deadlines on projects
• Strong organizational and time management skills. Must be able to multi-task
• Capacity to operate independently
• EXPERIENCE OF A RESIDENTIAL NATURE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED RELEVANT.
