Responsible for placing, leveling, smoothing, and finishing freshly poured concrete for various projects like floors, sidewalks, roads, and curbs.
Typical duties include:
- Checking, setting, and aligning concrete forms.
- Placing, spreading, and leveling concrete using tools like floats, trowels, and screeds.
- Moulding expansion joints and edges.
- Monitoring weather effects on curing concrete.
- Operating basic hand and power tools, and sometimes heavy equipment like skid steers or forklifts.
