Low Voltage Technician – Fire Alarm Installation

We are currently hiring Low Voltage Technicians with experience installing fire alarm systems for commercial construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test fire alarm systems and low-voltage wiring
• Run and pull low-voltage cable through commercial buildings
• Install fire alarm devices including smoke detectors, pull stations, horns/strobes, modules, and notification appliances
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and fire alarm drawings
• Perform device installation, wire termination, labeling, and basic troubleshooting
• Work with conduit, cable tray, J-hooks, and other cable support systems
• Assist with system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow OSHA and job-site safety requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Low Voltage Technician, Fire Alarm Installer, Fire Alarm Technician, or similar position
• Commercial fire alarm installation experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and follow installation drawings
• Familiarity with low-voltage wiring and fire alarm components
• Ability to use hand tools and basic testing equipment
• Must be dependable and able to work independently or as part of a crew
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is a plus
• NICET certification or fire alarm certifications are a plus, but not required for all positions
