Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote recovery and improve mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in physical therapy practices.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Connecticut.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor towards patients.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
