Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Outpatient physical therapy clinic in Venice, Florida, looking for a full time or part time Physical Therapist or PTA to join our team. Normal business hours M-F 8:00-5:00 pm.

Job Description:

• Evaluates, designs and implements individual treatment programs to improve and/or restore physical functioning and alleviate pain. Establish achievable functional and measurable goals and develop actionable treatment plans. (PT)
• Provide-on-going physical therapy services that effectively and efficiently comply with treatment plans.
• Document initial evaluations, assessments, plans of care, daily notes, progress reports and discharge summaries in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy. (PT)
• Skillfully and safely progress patients through their levels of treatment until successful completion of care.
• Engage with patients for a more impactful, effective and sustainable treatment experience.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other health care providers involved with the care of the patient.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

Required Skills:

• Active State of Florida Physical Therapist License or PTA License
• Required CPR.
• Ability to treat a diverse caseload, including orthopedics, post surgical, balance and fall risk patients.
• Knowledge of a wide variety of diagnoses treatment plans.
• Excellent work ethic in both independent and collaborative settings.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask
• Highly organized.
• Experience with electronic documentation preferred.

Salary to be discussed at interview. Salary Range depends on PT or PTA position.
