Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and monitor patient progress.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
- Document patient care and progress in compliance with regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on exercise techniques and health management.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient care.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
